Delicata Classic Wine Festival

The Delicata Classic wine festival is held at the beautiful Upper Barrakka Gardens in Valletta.  As is the case every year this ‘not to be missed’ event will inaugurate the beginning of the Maltese wine harvest with a spectacular event that is guaranteed to keep wine drinkers of all ages happy for weeks to come.  Emmanuel Delicata is Malta’s oldest family run winemaker, established in 1907. This fourth generation winemaking company is the island’s largest wine producer and has received over 65 international awards for its wines from France, Italy and the United Kingdom. 

The festival is host to over 60,000 persons over 4 days and is then repeated on Malta's sister Island Gozo, in Nadur at the end of the month.

MAS was integral in the creation and conceptualisation of the festival contributing not only to the design, which has now become synonymous with the festival (and even duplicated by competitors!) but also in the initial strategy. This event encapsulates a marketing tour de force and is a perfect venue to profile brands, 'meet' the consumer and create a stir, receiving plenty of media attention.
